As per the media reports, the NEET UG 2024 registration have been started from February 9, 2024. The last date to fill the application form of NEET 2024 is March 9, 2024. To register for NEET 2024, candidates need to follow five steps which include, registration, filling out the NEET application form 2024, uploading images, application fee payment, and application form printout.

NEET Correction Window Date 2024 - With the help of the NEET correction window date 2024, candidates will be able to edit details in the application form. It is to be noted that the correction window will be available for a specific period, therefore candidates must make corrections in the NEET application form within the stipulated time.

NEET Exam Date and Timing

NEET 2024 exam date is May 5. The timing of NEET exam is from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. Aspirants must enter the examination hall until 1:30 PM. The NEET test booklet will be distributed at 1:45 PM. The NEET 2024 will conclude at 5:20 PM. The NEET UG will be conducted in pen and paper mode for a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2024
The NEET 2024 eligibility criteria have changed in terms of subjects and schooling type. Candidates who have studied, or studying Biology/Biotechnology as additional subjects along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English, will also be eligible to appear for the exam. As per the official notice released by NMC, the eligibility criteria of NEET 2024 is stated as, "Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English shall be eligible for appearing in NEET-UG." Till last year, only those candidates who studied these as main or core subjects were considered eligible for NEET.

Nationality - Candidates must be citizens of India. Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of India Origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are also eligible to appear for NEET if they wish to pursue MBBS or any other medical courses accepting NEET scores from an institute in India.

Age Limit - Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2024, or the last date of the year. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2007. There is no upper age limit for NEET.

Educational and Qualifying Marks Criteria - Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects individually in the qualifying examination. The qualifying aggregate for General, General-PWD and Reserved category candidates is 50 per cent, 45 per cent and 40 per cent respectively.
